Hundreds of mourners have turned out to remember the 24-year-old Massachusetts high school teacher allegedly killed by one of her students last week.

Mourners embraced each other and wiped away tears Sunday during the visitation for Colleen Ritzer at St. Augustine Church in Andover. Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church in her hometown.

Ritzer's body was found near Danvers High School after she went missing Tuesday night. Police say she was killed inside a school bathroom before her body was dumped in the woods behind the school.

Fourteen-year-old Philip Chism is charged with murder in her death and has pleaded not guilty.

Ritzer's family has established a memorial scholarship fund to benefit Andover High School graduates who also pursue teaching careers.
