A homeless teenager says a decision regarding $184,000 in donations raised for him through a GoFundMe.com account has been made.

Fred Barley said on his Facebook page Monday that his attorney and a lawyer for the Georgia woman who started the page have agreed on establishing a trust that'll cover Barley's living expenses and tuition.

The outpouring of donations came after online reports that 19-year-old Barley had biked six hours to get to Gordon State College in Georgia and was found sleeping in a tent on campus.

GoFundMe spokesman Bobby Whithorne tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the money will be transferred to the trust once it's fully established.

The online fundraising company said last week that it was freezing the account until it resolved questions about Barley's story.
