NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The latest casualty of flooding that tore through the South is a homeless man found dead in Tennessee. The death toll from the storms more than a week ago is now 34.

Interim Nashville Police Chief Steve Anderson said at a Monday news conference the body of a 53-year-old homeless man was found east of downtown Nashville. Ten people have died because of the storms in that city alone.

Anderson said the man's name is being withheld until authorities can notify his family.

Two people who were reported washed away in flood waters are still missing in Nashville.
