NEW YORK -- Four New York City Police Department detectives have been placed on desk duty amid allegations that one of them sexually assaulted a waitress during a boozy on-duty meal at a Manhattan restaurant, the New York Post reported Saturday.
Law enforcement sources said the four have also lost their guns and badges over the incident at Parilla, a steakhouse in Washington Heights.
The detectives allegedly drank wine with their meal at the upper Manhattan eatery during a one-hour work break.
Investigators are working to sort out allegations that one of the cops sexually assaulted a Parilla waitress or paid her for sex, the sources said.
No criminal charges have been filed yet in the incident.
