Fans were evacuated from a Rihanna concert in Dallas on Friday night after a fire broke out.

Witnesses told KXAS-TV that a light on the stage caught fire during the show at the American Airlines Center.

Dallas Fire-Rescue sent firefighters to the scene after receiving reports that the stage curtains and some of the set were on fire. However, the blaze had been put out by the time they arrived.

There were no reports of injuries but KTVT-TV said the crowd backed up at the exits as they went to leave, with some angrily demanding their money back.

R&B star Rihanna later tweeted, "DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!! I'm so pissed, I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!"

"DALLAS yall CRAY!!! Love this f*ck*n place! Glad u guys are safe!!! I promise I'll be back!!!" she went on.

Fans immediately began setting the twittersphere ablaze about the incident, with one tweeting, "Rihanna set the stage on fire!! No really. She did. We had to evacuate."
