ATLANTA -- Authorities say they have filed charges against a former Atlanta high school principal who is accused of sending lewd text message to a 16-year-old girl.
Gwinnett County police say former Crim High School Principal Andre Williams sent an inappropriate photo -- and lewd text messages -- to the girl.
Gwinnett police said in a statement Monday evening that Williams has been charged with unlawful disposition of material to minors, a misdemeanor.
Police say Williams was taken into custody Monday without incident, and booked into the Gwinnett County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond. It was not immediately clear whether Williams has an attorney.
