A former Fortune 500 executive has been released on bail days after authorities say he killed an expectant couple in a crash while trying to commit suicide.

Corrections officials said Thursday 53-year-old Robert Dellinger, of Sunapee, was released on bail.

Dellinger faces two counts of reckless manslaughter in Saturday's crash that killed 29-year-old Jason Timmons and 24-year-old Amanda Murphy of Wilder, Vt. Murphy was eight months pregnant.

Prosecutors say Dellinger's pickup crossed the median of Interstate 89 in Lebanon and struck the couple's SUV. Police say Dellinger said he intended to kill himself.

Dellinger is a former senior vice president and chief financial officer at PPG Industries Inc. He also held posts at Sprint Corp., Delphi Corp. and General Electric Co.

Dellinger's attorney says he's led an "exemplary life."
