Stephen "The Rifleman" Flemmi is expected to take the witness stand for a sixth day of testimony in the racketeering trial of James "Whitey" Bulger.

Flemmi's cross-examination is set to continue Thursday, a day after he admitted to Bulger's defense lawyers that he had lied under oath in years past.

The witness insisted in court Wednesday that he's telling the truth now.

Bulger is accused of participating in 19 killings during the 1970s and '80s.

The 83-year-old Bulger was the reputed leader of Boston's Irish mob and one of the country's most wanted fugitives before his capture in California in 2011.

Flemmi claims both he and Bulger were FBI informants, but the defense denies that Bulger was an informant.
