Driver pleads guilty to aiding in shooting of Milwaukee girl

MILWAUKEE – A Milwaukee man has pleaded guilty to helping two other suspects in the fatal shooting of a 5-year-old Milwaukee girl.

Twenty-four-year-old Paul Farr pleaded guilty Friday to two counts of harboring or aiding a felon.

Farr was accused of driving two men who prosecutors say fired into a Milwaukee house on Nov. 6, 2014. Laylah Petersen was sitting on her grandfather's lap when she was shot. Police say the shooters targeted the wrong house.

The Journal Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1XE8v09 ) reports Farr's bail was reduced to $5,000 and he'll be allowed to live outside Wisconsin pending sentencing if he posts bail. He will be sentenced July 8.

Twenty-three-year-old Arlis Gordon and 20-year-old Carl Barrett Jr. are charged with first-degree reckless homicide in the girl's death. Both are scheduled for trial in June.
