Authorities say a Florida detective fatally shot a suspect who was attacking another detective.

A Polk County Sheriff's Office news release says the shooting occurred Friday morning at a Dundee home.

Officials say two computer crimes detectives were responding to a tip that 21-year-old Andres Estrada had downloaded child pornography. The detectives reported finding child porn on Estrada's phone.

One detective walked into another room to call his supervisor, and authorities say Estrada attacked the other detective. Estrada reportedly ignored commands to get off the much smaller, female detective, so her partner fired several times, killing Estrada. The female detective was treated for injuries at a nearby hospital.

The races of Estrada and the detectives weren't immediately released.
