CINCINNATI -- An Atlanta-bound Delta jet made an emergency landing at the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport Tuesday morning due to an odor and smoke in the cockpit, WCPO-TV reports.
An airport spokesperson told the station the plane was headed to Atlanta from Flint, Mich., when it was diverted to the airport located about 15 miles southwest of Cincinnati.
The plane landed safely and its roughly 130 passengers boarded another flight to Atlanta, a Delta representative told WCPO.
According to WCPO, the plane was taken to mechanics after the fire department was unable to find the source of the smoke.
