DENAIR, Calif. – A judge has heard grisly details of blood-splattered walls and a mother's cries, as a preliminary hearing continues for an 18-year-old Northern California woman accused of attacking her parents last year on Mother's Day.
A Stanislaus County Sheriff's deputy testified Tuesday that there was blood everywhere when he walked into the Denair home where he found Shanna Wills and her parents, Kenneth and Susan, in May 2011.
Shanna Wills is facing murder, attempted murder and assault charges in the death of her father and wounding of her mother. She has pleaded not guilty.
Her mother testified Tuesday, saying she told her daughter, "You're killing us," as the girl stabbed her with a knife.
The Modesto Bee reports (http://bit.ly/OwEiwU) that the preliminary hearing was set to continue Wednesday.
