The daughter of a southwest Louisiana pastor who was killed at a revival service says that if her father could talk to his killer, he'd say, "I forgive you and I love you."

Talisha (tuh-LEE-shuh) Harris says the man accused of shooting Ronald Harris Sr. on Friday was once a church member but left about four years ago.

She says neither she, her mother nor her brother know what prompted the shooting. She says Woodrow Karey of Lake Charles simply stopped going to church, without saying why but without any apparent animosity.

The Calcasieu (KAL-kuh-shoo) Parish Sheriff's Office says Karey called to surrender minutes after the shooting Friday night in the Tabernacle of Praise Worship Center.

He's been booked with second-degree murder. His bond is set at $1 million.
