BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – A Connecticut man accused of killing his parents after they threatened to cut him out of their will has pleaded not guilty to murder charges.
The Connecticut Post (http://bit.ly/1nn8JN8 ) reports Kyle Navin entered the pleas Wednesday in Bridgeport Superior Court. A judge continued the case to Feb. 24.
Authorities say the 27-year-old fatally shot Easton residents Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin to get their money. The couple disappeared on Aug. 4. Their bodies were found Oct. 29 outside a vacant house in nearby Weston.
Police allege Kyle Navin killed his parents with the help of his girlfriend, Jennifer Valiante, who pleaded not guilty in November to conspiracy to commit murder.
Navin is being held on $2.5 million bail. His lawyer declined to comment after the court appearance.
