Chicago Police say a 27-year-old man has been arrested in the fatal shooting this month of a 9-year-old boy on the city's South Side.

Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi (goo-YEL'-mee) says Corey Morgan of Chicago is in custody Friday and that more information will be announced later in the day.

The victim, Tyshawn Lee, was gunned down Nov. 2 in what police say was a targeted gang shooting.

Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy has said the boy was lured into the alley and killed because of his father's gang ties.
