LOS ANGELES -- A Los Angeles man has been sentenced to 26 years to life in state prison for beating to death his roommate with a frying pan.
Forty-six-year-old Kevan Beech was sentenced Tuesday for the October 2007 murder of Kenneth Flanders. He was convicted in March.
Prosecutors say Beech killed the 55-year-old roommate and remained with the body in the South Los Angeles home they shared for at least a day.
Relatives discovered Flanders' body.
