A 1-year-old girl police say was kidnapped by her “armed and dangerous” father was found safe on Tuesday and her father was arrested.
An Amber Alert had been issued on Monday for Lexi Segura but was lifted when her father’s vehicle was found abandoned a day later. But the search continued for the infant and her father, Daniel Segura, Fox 11 reported.

Segura was found with a handgun, according to the Los Angeles Times.
A spokeswoman for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department told KTLA the father and the mother were involved in a dispute before he allegedly kidnapped the girl.
“They were in an argument prior to him leaving the location with the child without the mother’s consent, displaying a handgun in a threatening manner,” Jodi Miller told KTLA.
Lexi was abducted in Ranch Segura Cucamonga, which is about 40 miles east of Los Angeles, and found in nearby Montclair.
