Burglars Nab Family Dog, Christmas Presents From Texas Apartment

One Texas family is not having a happy holiday season after burglars stole their dog and Christmas presents over the weekend, nbcdfw.com reports.

"I'm not worried about any gifts. I just want my dog back," 13-year-old Cameron Rusaw told the website.

Along with thieves taking Candy, the family's Yorkshire terrier, they also swiped wrapped Christmas presents, electronics and jewelry from the Rusaw's apartment in Mesquite.

The family is pleading with the burglars to return their beloved dog.

"She's a sweet little dog, and even if you are enjoying her, bring her back to us where she belongs, because it's not fair. She didn't do nothing," Stacy Rusaw told the website.
