LAS VEGAS – Bail is $500,000 for an 18-year-old accused of being under the influence of prescription drugs when he plowed a speeding vehicle into a crowded Las Vegas restaurant.

A judge on Thursday gave prosecutors one week to file a criminal complaint against Gage James Lindsey. His next court appearance is April 11.

A prosecutor says authorities are awaiting a blood test results.

Lindsey is jailed on felony reckless driving, driving under the influence of drugs and leaving the scene of an accident charges in the Monday crash that left 10 people hurt at the Egg & I restaurant on Sahara Avenue.

Lindsey's attorney says he'll plead not guilty.

Police say Lindsey tried to toss a pill away and run from the scene before a witness tackled him.
