PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Ill. – Authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying a girl who was found near a suburban Chicago forest preserve.
The Cook County Sheriff's Office says the girl, who's thought to be 3 or 4 years old and named Aaliyah or Alleah, was found Tuesday evening by a passer-by in Prospect Heights.
The sheriff's office says the girl is about 2 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 30 pounds. She was found wearing a gray, pink and purple shirt with blue pants, blue socks and yellow shoes.
Anyone with information regarding the girl is asked to call the sheriff's office.
