An Atlanta bomb squad has cleared a suspicious package near a federal building that forced the evacuation of a five-story parking garage and the closure of an adjacent street, MyFoxAtlanta reported.
The package was found in a parking garage across the street from the Peachtree Summit Federal Building laying under a vehicle on the first floor of the lot.
The package -- quickly ruled safe -- was found by the bomb squad to contain only paper.
A suspicious package was discovered at the federal building last month -- initially thought to be a hand grenade -- that caused a full evacuation of the building but turned out to be a harmless glass object.
