PORTAL, Ariz. -- The Horseshoe Two wildfire burning in southeastern Arizona is more than 26,500 acres with 20 percent containment. The U.S. Forest Service says 600 firefighters are on the line attempting to get the fire out near the community of Portal, two miles west of Rodeo, N.M.
The wildfire continues to back into the wind and make short uphill runs, with flames from 2 to 15 feet.
Firefighters are using helicopters in the southwest section of the wildfire where the terrain has made it difficult for ground crews.
