A 25-year-old Anchorage woman accused of pouring gasoline on her sleeping boyfriend and then setting him ablaze was arraigned Monday on murder, arson and other charges.

Gina Virgilio is accused of starting the fire that killed Michael Gonzalez on Friday.

According to charging documents, police allege that she confessed to a family member and witnesses but didn't provide a motive.

She was appointed a public defender, and a pre-indictment hearing was scheduled for Tuesday.

Virgilio's bail was set at $1 million. She was ordered not to have incendiary devices or any contact with potential witnesses, including her mother.
