CHICAGO – A 72-year-old Chicago woman was struck and killed by a dump truck while crossing a street near her home.
The Chicago Tribune reports the incident occurred Friday evening on the city's southwest side.
Police say the truck's driver did not stop after hitting the woman.
The woman was pronounced dead at Loyola University Medical Center.
The Cook County medical examiner's office identified her as Kazmiera Falat.
