A six-year-old California boy attending a candlelight vigil for a relative was allegedly shot by a group of teenagers, witnesses told Fox40.com.
"[The bullet] could have gone into his heart," witness Nelli Myles told the station.
Myles said a vigil was being held in Stockton for her 18-year-old grandson, who drowned last week in a canal, when a group of teenagers drove up to the house and fired four to eight shots, striking the boy in the arm.
"All I know is, they run into the house, and that little boy stood up in the living room. I held him, and you can see the blood," Myles said.
Police are searching for the suspects.
