Two people killed in a double shooting in Arkansas have been identified after Oklahoma police fatally shot a man suspected in the killings.

The Texarkana Gazette (http://bit.ly/29B9wTH ) reports that the Sevier County, Arkansas, sheriff's office, has identified 66-year-old Deborah A. Johnson and 70-year-old Don L. Brown as the people found dead in Horatio, Arkansas, on Saturday. Authorities say Johnson is the suspect's mother.

The officer-involved shooting happened when a Broken Bow, Oklahoma, police officer spotted 40-year-old Andre Johnson Saturday night. According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, officers attempted to stop him, and a pursuit began. Johnson drove down a dead end street, turned around, exited his vehicle and began shooting at an officer's car.

The bureau says four Oklahoma law enforcement officers shot at Johnson, striking him multiple times.

The shooting is under investigation.
