PRESIDENT-ELECT DONALD TRUMP OUTLINES HIS JOBS PLAN FOR FIRST 100 DAYS IN OFFICE
Lisa Boothe: This is what Americans wanted and I think he will deliver particularly as a business guy. You look at energy. President Obama even with the obstruction of the key stone pipeline we're talking about tens of thousands of jobs supported and further looking at energy as well, you look at fracking which has added $190 billion and created 1.4 million jobs. The Wall Street journal has said it has saved Americans energy costs but president Obama has pursued federal regulations against the fracking industry even though it has been in the hands of the states. Even if you look at those issues alone, all those are jobs created, money added that is positive things for the American people.
Rachel Campos Duffy: It looks like the market likes it and I think that it's a really good sign. I think America is ready to turn the page on socialism. They elected a businessman president and I couldn't agree more with her about energy and that being the item that I’m most excited about. It's not going to create more jobs, it's going to make our goods cheaper to make and make us more competitive internationally with our manufacturing and I’m up here in Wisconsin and I can tell you there's a lot of people that could use a break on their heating bills up here. So I think that this is incredibly smart of him to start with these things and I think it's going to make a huge difference. Get everything jump-started and then he'll get more buy in for some other things he wants to do which are more controversial.
Jessica Tarlov: Definitely. $1 trillion investment, I know he wants to be the modern day FDR and if this works out I think that's fantastic and lot of democrats have talked about a potential to work together on this. The concern is whether it's actually going to be infrastructure spending or just tax breaks for developers and things like that. So we'll have to see how the actual bill looks, but there's definitely room for compromise there. I think it's great he's laying out this pro-growth agenda, I just want to see if it's going to work. I have concerns about the environment. Donald Trump admitted yesterday that maybe humans do contribute to climate change, not completely sure, but I think he knows so there's concerns there with fracking which is the reason that democrats have a problem with it. New president, I’m optimistic and hopeful and let's spend that trillion dollars and build roads and bridges.
CELEBRITIES' ANTI TRUMP ATTACKS FUELNIG FIERCE DEBATE
Jessica Tarlov: I think it's bad for the liberal brand. It's a huge mistake. It's disrespectful to the office and I was talking to a friend and said if there had been mocking of Michelle Obama the entire world would have erupted and chanted they were being racist. It's a huge problem. These weren't my top picks for president and first lady, but treat them with respect and stop it and move on.
Lisa Boothe: Absolutely. It's only a bad thing if they criticize democrats. They can say whatever they want about republicans and conservatives and that's not offensive. The things we heard even with green day that stuff is ridiculous and Jessica is right. If there was a mocking of Michelle Obama everyone would be up in arms but I’m sick of giving these people time and thought. If it was cool to be a conservative in Hollywood they would all be conservatives in Hollywood. These guys are such hypocrites too. You have Gwyneth Paltrow trying to go on the food stamp challenge.
Rachel Campos Duffy: It doesn't surprise me they didn't vote. This is typical of the New York theater scene. It's the same liberal bubble they live in. They just talk to each other. They didn't see the irony of standing up there pronouncing on diversity when all of them have exactly the same point of view. They want diversity of race and gender and sexuality, but the most important thing which is diversity of thought they don't see why they should accept that.
NEW FOCUS ON WAYS PRESIDENT-ELECT TRUMP AND CONGRESS CAN CUT THE FEDERAL BUDGET
Rachel Campos Duffy: No. He should keep that twitter account. It's why he got there and there's nothing unpresidential trying to talk to your voters. I would suggest an app where his tweets have to go through approval of Reince Priebus before they go out.
Lisa Boothe: Wives are always right. This is the reason why he was able to bypass the mainstream media. That being said I’ll agree with Rachel in the sense he needs to find someone he trusts to filter out the more troublesome stuff and keep his positive agenda for America.
Jessica Tarlov: I do think it's an important tool. Something President Obama used to his advantage. I thought the YouTube that came out on his first 100 days was smart. He can't complain about the media if it's unfiltered. That's Donald trump talking directly to his audience. I am concerned about the content, which i think the personal Twitter account should go. He shouldn't say, I think Harry Reid is dumber than Chuck Schumer. He is the president now. There are obligations. He shouldn't have enough time, actually, to go on the 3:00 A.M. Twister rants. I know he requires little sleep, but I’m sure Hilary Clinton was condemned for being asleep during the Benghazi event.
WAKE UP AMERICA
Eric Bolling: Time to wake up America.
So Donald Trump has been president-elect less than three weeks and he is already proving to be a jobs creator/saver.
Ford Motor Company announced that since Trump won the presidency they would cancel their plans to move production of one of it SUV's to Mexico..
I'm absolutely certain that many more American companies will follow Ford's lead; saving millions of American manufacturing jobs..
And President-elect Trump’s promise to break trade agreements will do the same thing keep American jobs in America.
I also like the promise by the president-elect to spend a trillion dollars on our crumbling infrastructure.
A trillion is a big number, but truth be told this country could probably spend two or three trillion on our roads and bridges and still need more.
I have always touted myself as a small government guy, but I truly believe this money will be well spent.
That is, if it's well spent!
Take for example President Obama’s biggest failure, in my opinion.
Sure Obamacare was a flop.
But think about President Obama’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.. A fancy name for an almost trillion dollar spending bill.
The ARRA was supposed to fix our crumbling roads and bridges..
Remember shovel ready jobs?
Well guess what?
I recall union thug head Richie Trumka laughing saying quote "I guess those shovel ready jobs weren't so shovel ready..hahaha"
Not funny Trumka. That's hard working Americans handing over their well-deserved money to the government
Only to have it wasted on you and your union thug friends.
No really not funny, Richie..
President Obama spent a trillion of your tax dollars and we have absolutely nothing to show for it.
I challenge anyone to show me where we benefitted from spending that trillion dollars.
Show me a road or a bridge that's not crumbling. I dare you.
President Trump I trust will be far smarter and far more effective with your tax dollars.
