Jesse Watters asks Hollywood actors what they think of President Obama's job performance

O'REILLY: "Back of the Book" segment tonight, "Watters' World." As you may know, we send Watters all over the country to illuminate things that perplex us.
And so it is that we wanted to know if Hollywood is disappointed with President Obama. So, we sent Watters to the Sundance Film Festival to find out.

JESSE WATTERS, FOX NEWS CORRESPONDENT: So, John, what are you doing here.
JOHN QUINONES, ABC NEWS CORRESPONDENT: I'm trying to enjoy the film festival. What do you think.
WATTERS: Are you acting right now or is this reality.
JORGE GARCIA, ACTOR: That is the stupidest question.
(LAUGHTER)

JEFF DANIELS, ACTOR: Shut up.

WATTERS: You're getting pretty famous now.
JOSH GAD, ACTOR: No, not really.
WATTERS: You're getting there.
GAD: No, I think you think I'm Jonah Hill and I'm not.

JONAH HILL, ACTOR: You have my money taped to your boobs, OK. Technically, you do work for me.

WATTERS: What do you think the most important problem is in America right now.
CHERYL HINES, ACTRESS: Oh, jeez, come on.

This is what you're going to ask me?
LEA THOMPSON, ACTRESS: The biggest problem? Wealth inequality.
GAD: The one that's most personal to me is global warming.
WATTERS: I can't feel my toes right now.
GAD: Well, this is not a perfect example of global warming.

CHEYENNE JACKSON, ACTOR: In 2014, the red and the blue is literally split down the middle.
RICHARD KIND, ACTOR: I think that the disparity between the rich and the poor continues.
WATTERS: So, instead of taking the really wealthy and then shrinking them down to the size of the poor, maybe we should lift the poor up instead.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Well, if I'm confused, everybody must be.

WATTERS: Are you disappointed in President Obama at all.
JOHN SLATTERY, ACTOR: No.
WATTERS: Why not.
SLATTERY: I'm disappointed in Bill O'Reilly.
WAYNE NEWTON, ENTERTAINER: I think he will go down, as without a doubt, having cleaned up Jimmy Carter being the worst president ever.
KIND: I think the health plan, -- I know it's not perfect but, Jesus, we've got to start somewhere.
WATTERS: With all that record on unemployment --
MARK RUFFALO, ACTOR AND DIRECTOR: Yes.
WATTERS: -- and the Benghazi scandal and the ObamaCare debacle.
RUFFALO: Oh, Benghazi scandal, we kind of know that -- I mean, you and I agree that that's B.S. now, right.
WATTERS: Why is that B.S. An American ambassador and there was no protection for him and he wasn't rescued.
RUFFALO: Well, what was the scandal though.
WATTERS: Well, because there was no protection for him. He was never rescued.
RUFFALO: But who cut the -- who's the cutting the protection, who's cutting the budget.
WATTERS: Who did.
RUFFALO: The Republicans.
WATTERS: Because, you know, the Senate Intelligence Committee determine --
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Sir, I'm so sorry, we have to move on.
ROSE MCGOWAN, ACTRESS: But I want Hillary.
WATTERS: Yes, big Hillary fan?
MCGOWAN: Big Hillary fan.

WATTERS: Bill O'Reilly has a big question for you. Big fan, by any chance. No?

WATTERS: OK. He just wants to know if you feel let down by the president.
TOMEI: I don't know why you're being provocative but -- yuck.

KIND: First time I met him, he goes, "Yeah, yeah. Yeah, you're good."

O'REILLY: Here now is Watters. So, were they happy to see you, generally speaking.
(LAUGHTER)
WATTERS: No, not at all. No, I actually got admonished by the brats at Sundance because I asked Mark Ruffalo about Benghazi.
O'REILLY: Yes.
WATTERS: And reference guys called me and said, --
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
-- "You can't ask people about that. You have to ask them about their movies."
O'REILLY: Why not. Why couldn't you ask him. Ruffalo looks like he's at least a thinker. I mean, he knew what you were talking about, right.
WATTERS: Right. He was a thinker and he was articulate.
O'REILLY: Yes, he's wrong but --
WATTERS: Marisa Tomei, he just ran away.
O'REILLY: Yes, I would, too, Watters. If I saw you, --
(LAUGHTER)
-- I'd bolt.
WATTERS: A lot of guys ran away, though.
O'REILLY: Let's explain. The Sundance Film Festival is a Robert Redford thing, right.
WATTERS: Right.
O'REILLY: And it's independent movies, --
WATTERS: Right.
O'REILLY: -- that Hollywood people go there and they try to sell those movies, --
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
WATTERS: Right.
O'REILLY: -- so they'd get them into the theaters, right.
WATTERS: Right. You have big guys that come pick them up and buy them and then distribute them. So, everyone is competing to see who has the most buzz and the hottest film.
But they have these gifting suites, OK. So, all these celebrities flock and they snatch up as much free stuff as they can.
O'REILLY: Did you get free stuff.
WATTERS: I didn't get anything.
O'REILLY: You got nothing.
WATTERS: No, I just got a steak dinner. That's about it.
O'REILLY: Just disrespectful.
WATTERS: That's right.
O'REILLY: All right. So, the celebrities are there, and they're brought in by the movie companies, and this and that, to schmooze.
WATTERS: Right.
O'REILLY: So, you can understand, when you show up asking about Benghazi --
WATTERS: I know. It doesn't have anything to do with --
O'REILLY: Rolled them off the game.
WATTERS: Philip Seymour Hoffman ran so fast --
O'REILLY: Yes?
WATTERS: -- away from me when tried to ask him. You know, he was smoking a cigarette, I went to him and said, "Philip, you know, I would love to talk to you about the president." And he just turned the other way --
O'REILLY: He bolted.
WATTERS: -- and skedaddled.
O'REILLY: Now, De Niro, was he like, you know --
WATTERS: I was personally intimidated --

-- by De Niro because he's one of my big idols.
O'REILLY: He's got that look.
WATTERS: I know. He could kill me with his eyes.
O'REILLY: Right.
WATTERS: But he was nice and I didn't ask any follow-up questions because I was a little intimidated.

O'REILLY: Right. I wish -- I'd like to -- he's a slow talker, though. You can't get him on live. But I'd like to see what -- but all of these people outside of Wayne Newton, --
WATTERS: Right.
O'REILLY: -- they're all liberal people, correct.
WATTERS: The lone conservative. I think Mitt Romney actually showed up because he's got a film there. And he got a little applause when he went in there. But, no, everybody is welcome.
O'REILLY: You didn't see Romney, though, right.
WATTERS: You know, I tried to RSVP and get invited but they denied me.
O'REILLY: They denied -- Romney people denied you?
WATTERS: Can you believe that.
