Radical-left fanatics Bill Ayers and Ward Churchill met in Boulder, Colorado, Thursday night. The event was sponsored by a University of Colorado student group. It was the usual nonsense: two America haters insulting their country and Churchill continuing to excuse the 9/11 terror attack.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WARD CHURCHILL, FIRED UNIV. OF COLO. PROFESSOR: It's an American exception unless radical innocents posture that no matter what is done in the world individually or collectively, if there's payback in kind, you had to have been absolved and pronounced innocent. Guess what? By virtue of being American, you are not innocent.

Now, Ayers is not as flat-out crazy as Churchill, but he does sympathize with him.

BILL AYERS, FORMER WEATHER UNDERGROUND MEMBER: After 9/11, this crime against humanity, this terrible terrorist attack, after 9/11, there was great open debate for about two minutes about what it meant. And then the noisy voices, the powerful voices shouted down Susan Sontag and Bill Maher and Aaron McGruder and Ward Churchill.

Well, last time I looked, Maher had a program on HBO. But hey, let's not confuse Ayers or Churchill with any facts.

Now, I know you're thinking who gives a fig what these guys think, and that is a valid point. Outside of radical precincts like Boulder, these two are simply clowns on parade. But in Washington, there are powerful people trying to rewrite history on the terror war as well.

Senator Patrick Leahy and Congressman John Conyers are leading the movement for the so-called truth. They want a massive witch hunt to find material that can back up their opinion that the USA waged the terror war illegally. This pathetic ideological exercise would gravely damage America, and every-fair minded person knows it, including President Obama. But the president is allowing the far left to run wild, as we have seen in the economy.

Think about it. A witch hunt after the Civil War could have well indicted the slain Abraham Lincoln for suspending habeas corpus. And Generals Grant and Sherman could have easily been tried as war criminals. Prosecutions and witch hunts are easy after any war.

Polls show most Americans do not support criminal witch hunts, but Leahy and Conyers don't care. Why? Because it provides a good smoke screen for the radical agenda.

On Friday, far-left economist Paul Krugman once again called for the government to take over some powerful banks. Why? Because once the feds control the banking system, they can devise lending practices that speed up the redistribution of wealth.

A nice political witch hunt makes good cover for radical changes in our capitalistic system. Believe me. Attacking Rush Limbaugh is just the beginning.

"Talking Points" has been very fair to President Obama and the Democratic Party. But it would be good if the president got things under control.

And that's "The Memo."

Pinheads & Patriots

Ohio police say they have arrested 39-year-old Janine Compton after receiving this 911 call:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

911 CALLER: I'm following behind a lady in a van who is driving while breastfeeding her newborn baby and talking on the cell phone.

911 OPERATOR: OK.

911 CALLER: So then I tried to say something to her. She literally has the little girl on the steering wheel. And I said, "I can't believe you have that kid in your lap." And she said, "You want to pop your (EXPLETIVE DELETED) out and breastfeed this kid?"

911 OPERATOR: OK.

911 CALLER: That's what she said to me. And I'm like, "You can feed your kid when you stop." It's like wet out here. It's full of traffic. It's ridiculous. And she's got, like, three other kids in the car.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Well, Ms. Compton has pled not guilty, but we believe the guy who turned her in is a patriot. You don't want to put children in danger like that.

On the pinhead front, Japanese TV is sometimes very unusual. While we have "American Idol," they have Japanese speed-strippers.

Very impressive. How do you say "pinhead" in Japanese?
