GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, HOST: More than 10,000 American soldiers and Marines are getting into position around Fallujah at this hour for an expected assault on insurgents. We're going to take you live to the scene in just a moment.
But first, Iraq's interim prime minister issued this warning just hours ago.

IYAD ALLAWI, IRAQI INTERIM PRIME MINISTER: The window really is closing for a peaceful settlement. The Fallujah people have left, most of them have left Fallujah and the insurgents and terrorists are still operating there. We hope they will come to their senses. Otherwise, we'll have to bring them to face the justice.

VAN SUSTEREN: Let's go via videophone to Fox News Military Analyst Lieutenant Colonel Scott Rutter who is embedded with U.S. forces near Fallujah. Welcome, colonel, and tell me what's going on at this hour there?
LT. COL. SCOTT RUTTER, FOX MILITARY ANALYST: Hi, Greta.
United States forces and Iraqi forces continue to execute security operations in the Anbar Province of central Iraq. I'm currently embedded with Task Force 2-2, the famed 1st Infantry Division, the Big Red One, recently attached to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force on the outskirts of Fallujah.
Our unit has also been augmented by elements of the Iraqi intervention force. These are the same soldiers that fought bravely and gallantly in Najaf as well as Samara.
Today in Brussels, as you stated, Interim Iraqi Prime Minister Allawi stated that time is running out for the insurgents who continue to operate in Fallujah and that he is prepared to liberate the city from terrorists. He further stated that he is prepared to apprehend all insurgents and bring them to justice.
Here on the outskirts of Fallujah, soldiers and Marines continue to execute security operations and, if called upon by the Iraqi Interim Government, all are well prepared and resourced to assist the government and Iraqi forces rid Fallujah of these terrorists once and for all.
Leaders and soldiers continue to do what they do best preparing for combat. Our leaders are non-commissioned officers who are preparing troops, soldiers, weapons and all equipment. Soldiers and leaders are very confident in the weapon systems that they have.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I think we're prepared for it. We're ready to get the job done whatever we got to do.
RUTTER: Throughout the Anbar Province, Iraqi and U.S. forces continue to execute security and civil military operations in order to make Iraq a better place for the very receptive Iraqi people — Greta, back to you.
