JESSE WATTERS, FOX NEWS HOST: Welcome to WATTERS' WORLD, I'm Jesse Watters.

We begin with a FOX News alert. President Trump releasing a new video from Walter Reed Medical Center, updating the country on his condition. Here's the President.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DONALD TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: I want to begin by thanking all of the incredible medical professionals, the doctors, the nurses, everybody at Walter Reed Medical Center -- I think it's the finest in the world -- for the incredible job they've been doing.

I came here, I wasn't feeling so well, I feel much better now. We're working hard to get me all the way back, I have to be back because we still have to make America great again. We've done an awfully good job of that, but we still have steps to go and we have to finish that job.

And I'll be back -- I think I'll be back soon, and I look forward to finishing up the campaign the way it was started and the way we've been doing, the kind of numbers that we've been doing. We've been so proud of it.

But this was something that happened and it's happened to millions of people all over the world, and I'm fighting for them, not just in the U.S., I'm fighting for them all over the world. We're going to beat this coronavirus, or whatever you want to call it and we're going to beat it soundly.

So many things have happened. If you look at the therapeutics, which I'm taking right now, some of them and others are coming out soon that are looking like, frankly, they are miracles, if you want to know the truth, they are miracles.

People criticize me when I say that, but we have things happening that look like they are miracles coming down from God.

So I just want to tell you that I'm starting to feel good. You don't know over the next period of a few days, I guess that's the real test. So we'll be seeing what happens over those next couple of days.

I just want to be so thankful for all of the support I've seen, whether it's on television or reading about it. I most of all, appreciate what's been said by the American people, by almost a bipartisan consensus of American people. It's a beautiful thing to see and I very much appreciate it and I won't forget it, I promise you that.

I also want to thank the leaders of the world for their condolences and their -- they know what we're going through. They know what, as your leader what I have to go through. But I had no choice because I just didn't want to stay in the White House, I was given that alternative.

Stay in the White House, lock yourself in. Don't ever leave. Don't even go to the Oval Office, just stay upstairs and enjoy it.

Don't see people don't talk to people and just be done with it. And I can't do that. I had to be out front, and this is America. This is the United States. This is the greatest country in the world. This is the most powerful country in the world. I can't be locked up in a room upstairs and totally safe and just say, hey, whatever happens, happens. I can't do that.

We have to confront problems.

As a leader, you have to confront problems. There's never been a great leader that would have done that. So, that's where it is. I'm doing well. I want to thank everybody.

Our First Lady is doing very well, and Melania asked me to say something as to the respect that she has for our country, the love that she has for our country, and we are both doing well. Melania is really handling it very nicely.

As you've probably read, she's slightly younger than me, just a little tiny bit, and therefore just we know the disease. We know the situation with age versus younger people. And Melania is handling it statistically like it's supposed to be handled, and that makes me very happy and it makes the country very happy.

But I'm also doing well, and I think we're going to have a very good result. Again, over the next few days, we're going to probably know for sure.

So I just want to thank everybody out there. Everybody all over the world, specifically the United States, the outpouring of love has been incredible.

I will never forget. Thank you very much.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

WATTERS: President Trump looking much better than he looked yesterday. He is spending a second night in the Presidential Suite at Walter Reed, where he is being treated for COVID-19.

The President was taken on Marine One Friday out of an abundance of caution, giving his classic thumbs up before taking off from the South Lawn of the White House.

The President developed symptoms on Thursday, reportedly a cough, fever, nasal congestion and fatigue. His cough is said to be improving and he has been fever-free for more than 24 hours.

President Trump's doctors updating his condition this morning and explaining why they are taking such serious precautions.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DR. SEAN CONLEY, WHITE HOUSE PHYSICIAN: It's important to note the President has been fever free for over 24 hours. He is doing so well. But with the known course of the illness, day seven to 10, we get really concerned about the inflammatory phase, Phase 2.

Given that, we provided some of these advanced therapy so early in the course, a little bit earlier than most of the patients we know and follow.

It's hard to tell where he is on that course, and so every day we are evaluating.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He is in exceptionally good spirits and in fact, as we were completing our multidisciplinary rounds this morning, the quote he left us with was, "I feel like I could walk out of here today."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

WATTERS: Trump's doctor's revealing the President is taking a five-day course of Remdesivir and an experimental cocktail Regeneron as well as zinc, vitamin D, antacid, melatonin and aspirin.

As of this afternoon, Trump's doctors say he was not on oxygen, but sources told CBS News, the President was given oxygen at the White House before being transferred. No hard date has been set for when the President will leave Walter Reeds Medical Center.

But the race is now on to trace Trump's recent contacts as members of his inner circle have also been infected by COVID, including Trump campaign manager, Bill Stepien; senior aide, Hope Hicks. And most recently, Chris Christie, who has checked into a hospital as an important precautionary measure.

Let's get straight to Kristin Fisher at the Walter Reed Medical Center -- Kristen.

KRISTIN FISHER, FOX NEWS CHANNEL WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT: Jesse, instead of President Trump going out on the campaign trail, that campaign trail has come to President Trump here at Walter Reed.

There are dozens and dozens of his supporters lining the street right outside Walter Reed where the President has been for about 24 hours now, a little over 24 hours now. They are waving flags, honking horns, trying to disrupt the presses.

They delivered their reports just a little bit, and their message is clear.

They're trying to give President Trump the support that he needs to fight through the coronavirus.

Now, I'll tell you what. That video that President Trump recorded inside Walter Reed that was posted about an hour ago was certainly welcome news for every American because it showed that he at least sounded healthy and it was really important because it came at the end of a very confusing day.

It started with the President's doctors coming out delivering that press conference and saying that he was doing very well, but then right after that press conference was over, a senior administration official who the AP later reported to be the White House Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows. He said that, you know, there were some very troubling signs yesterday when President Trump was first brought here to Walter Reed.

He made it sound like it was very touch and go and said that the next 48 hours were going to be critical. He said that we are still not on a clear path to a full recovery.

So that sparked a lot of concern, and so then, they have this video from President Trump that certainly was a very reassuring sign to Americans, our allies and our adversaries around the world.

But Jesse, I do want to point out, I mean, President Trump was very frank in that video. He said, look, I wasn't feeling great yesterday. I'm feeling better today. But we're going to have to wait and see what happens over the next few days. He called that the real test.

And so President Trump himself signaling that he is fighting with all he has to get through the coronavirus and get back out on the campaign trail.

We're just 31 days before Election Day, even though this campaign trail has come to him.

But even President Trump acknowledging tonight that the real test for him is still ahead -- Jesse.

WATTERS: Thanks a lot, Kristin.

The next 48 hours said to be critical for President Trump. Let's get right to retired Navy Rear Admiral and former physician for Presidents Obama and Trump, Dr. Ronny Jackson.

All right, Doctor. We all saw that video yesterday, and then we just saw the video the President just released, a lot different. So I think that gives Americans a lot of hope.

When his physician said this afternoon that there's this seven to 10-day period. At that time, you're really going to know where this COVID is going to go. Is it going to get better or is it going to get worse? Is that your sense of things? We're going to know more then officially.

DR. RONNY JACKSON, FORMER WHITE HOUSE PHYSICIAN: Yes, I think that's right, Jesse. I think we're going to know more well before that, actually. You know, one of the things we found out about treating this virus over the last few months is that if you interact really early and inject yourself really early in the treatment of this and be aggressive up front, that you can really shorten the course of this.

And I think that they've been really aggressive with the President. I think they did the right thing. They took him to Walter Reed where they have all the resources available and they can give him these AVI medications that are given him and they really got all over this just right off the bat.

And you know, the reason they do that is because you this infection runs through phases, and it starts off, you get infected and the viral load builds in your body, and then your immune response kicks in, and then a lot of the damage or the issues that you have with the virus down the road are related to the inflammatory response of your body.

But if you can use these drugs, like the monoclonal antibody cocktail and the remdesivir, you can reduce the viral load and you can reduce the inflammatory response, which really shortens everything and actually, hopefully can completely prevent the inflammatory part of the illness.

So yes, I think that -- you know -- yes.

WATTERS: The Regeneron, the cocktail experimental drug. It's shown great promise in trial. It's not done trial yet. It looked like it was very successful over in England. That was used on mice. And it is shown, I think, basically it tamped down by 50 percent the virus, what are your thoughts on administering an experimental cocktail to the President of the United States?

JACKSON: Well, I think it's fine, you know, some drugs are more dangerous than other drugs, you know, like the -- some are known to have more -- so these monoclonal antibodies are known to be pretty safe. We've used them in Medicine for many years now.

So these particular monoclonal antibodies that they've identified that are really effective against the coronavirus are new, but we've used monoclonal antibodies for a really long time for a variety of issues in Medicine.

So the risk associated with that was known to be very low, even though it was technically an experimental drug. So I don't think there was a big risk to the President for doing this. I think it was a rad call.

WATTERS: Great. Dr. Jackson, thank you so much for keeping us updated.

JACKSON: Thank you, Jesse.

WATTERS: President Trump insisting he is going to beat this. He called his good buddy, Rudy Giuliani this afternoon saying he feels healthy enough to leave the hospital.

Joining me now, President Trump's attorney, and former New York City Mayor, Rudy Giuliani. All right, Mayor, it's been a tough 48 hours. You saw the video. I saw that video. Was that kind of the way he was with you on the phone? High energy, good spirits.

RUDY GIULIANI, PRESIDENT TRUMP'S PERSONAL ATTORNEY: Absolutely. I'm glad he did it because you know, sometimes people don't believe you if you say it, but I had a really good conversation with him about three o'clock for about, say a half hour to 45 minutes.

It was -- I've known him for 30 years, it was the same Donald Trump that I've always known, the same energy.

WATTERS: Good.

GIULIANI: He was talking about what happened to him. He was talking about the campaign. He was talking about issues.

He gave me a couple of things that I had to take down and write down so that I can pass it on to the campaign. I virtually felt like a secretary, you know, trying to keep up with him.

WATTERS: So he is actually politicking right now. He's sending you information to tell the campaign --

GIULIANI: Politicking. He is functioning the same way he functions in the White House or the same way he functions 24 hours a day.

I mean, the thing that is going to happen when he comes out of this is, I mean, just think about this. They've tried everything on this guy from the day he got inaugurated, they've been trying to impeach him, get him out of office. They've tried a coup. They tried a phony Russian thing, a phony obstruction of justice thing, a phony Ukraine thing.

Recently, they wanted to impeach him because he nominated Judge Barrett, and now he gets attacked by China. And he is going to come out of it stronger and better than ever. We should elect him by acclamation. I mean, the guy is a miracle man. I mean, it's unbelievable.

WATTERS: Well, I mean, if he can defeat this virus personally like this and storm back onto the campaign trail and beat Joe Biden at that second debate, he is going to have momentum like you've never seen before.

When you were talking to him on the phone, Mayor, did he have his good humor the way he does? Because we saw that video.

GIULIANI: Oh, yes, absolutely.

WATTERS: He was joking about Melania, as you know, is much younger than I am.

GIULIANI: Yes. Yes, well, I told them, you know, the next debate, he's not going to have a problem because he really debated -- he really debated Chris Wallace not Joe Biden. I mean, Joe Biden entered the debate a few times, but he is not going to have a problem if all he has to do this debate. In fact, I'd like to see just him and Biden, just the two of them, one on one.

I thought today, he could have debated him today.

WATTERS: And so, it sounds like you ...

GIULIANI: We could have a debate right now.

WATTERS:  ... and the President are ready to get out of the hospital and get back on the campaign trail and are chomping at the bit to debate.

GIULIANI: He told me that.

WATTERS: Is that what he told you?

GIULIANI: He told me -- he told me I'm -- you know, I'm ready to leave, but they say I have to stay here just in case something goes wrong, but nothing is going to go wrong, so ...

WATTERS: That's great to hear. All right, Rudy Giuliani --

GIULIANI: All I can tell you is, he is -- the guy has got more energy than I've ever seen and he has got exactly the spirit of a leader. What you heard is a great leader today. Generals don't lead armies from behind.

WATTERS: You're right.

GIULIANI: They don't lead armies from basements. They get out front and they take risks. That's a leader.

WATTERS: And he made that clear. Thank you very much, Mayor. We appreciate it. And if you talk to him again you, tell him we're all praying for him, okay?

GIULIANI: Thank you. Oh, I sure will. I sure will.

WATTERS: Thank you. Down, but not out, the Trump campaign going full speed ahead launching Operation MAGA to keep momentum going while President refocuses on his health.

Joining me now with the plan of action, Tim Murtaugh, Trump's 2020 Communications Director. All right, Tim, you heard the Mayor talking about taking down notes to tell the campaign to you know, strategize. It is only

14 days until the next debate. Tell us about Operation MAGA. How do you guys plan on campaigning until the President gets back there on the trail?

TIM MURTAUGH, TRUMP'S 2020 COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR: Well, I was on the phone with a couple of us today when Mayor Giuliani relayed the messages from the President, and I can attest to the fact that the President is himself and is absolutely dispensing marching orders for everybody here at the campaign. That is a true fact that the Mayor just told you.'

Operation MAGA is something that we're getting ready to launch, and as you know, the Vice President's debate is next Wednesday. Leading up to the VP's debate, we're going to have a pretty big virtual event on Monday night, and then right after the VP's debate, we're going to be sending out pretty much all of the big characters from the MAGA universe.

We're going to be sending folks out, the Vice President himself, Mike Pence will be hitting Arizona first in for an in-person event, and then he'll stop in Indiana and vote early in his home state, and then go on to some other events.

But we're also going to have the first family out being aggressive and having events all across the country.

WATTERS: That's a huge asset to have the First Family and the Vice President flood the zone like that.

MURTAUGH: Absolutely.

WATTERS: Will the President be participating in any of the virtual events while he's at Walter Reed?

MURTAUGH: So that's not something that we've announced just yet. I mean, it's something certainly that folks have talked about, but for the time being, what we're going to be planning and can talk about publicly is the Vice President and Don, Jr. and Eric Trump and Lara Trump, who works with us here at the campaign, and it's really going to be great.

It's a marshalling of all of our top key surrogates like that, but also involving our coalitions: Black Voices for Trump, Women for Trump, Latinos for Trump, and we're going to be encouraging all the millions of Americans who support the President to join up and sign up for our massive grassroots volunteer army for Trump and encourage people to show their support, as they always do, you know, fly their MAGA flags, wear their Trump gear and do all the things that they always do.

WATTERS: And you could see the flags flying outside the hospital, I couldn't believe it. Like Kristin said, if he can't go to a rally, the rally will go to him.

All right, Tim --

MURTAUGH: And this is just our opportunity to show the President that we'll work just as hard as he always does, and to keep the campaign moving at full speed. That's what Operation MAGA is all about.

WATTERS: Thanks a lot, Tim. We appreciate it.

MURTAUGH: Thanks, Jesse.

WATTERS: Trump's positive diagnosis rocking the 2020 election. We'll break down where both campaigns stand with just 30 days left.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

WATTERS: The race now completely up in the air just 30 days out after President Trump tests positive for coronavirus.

Joining me now to discuss is Trump 2020 campaign senior advisor and author of "Trump: America First - The President Succeeds against All Odds," Corey Lewandowski and FOX News contributor and author of the book, "The three C's that Made America Great," Mike Huckabee.

Corey, I hear you just spoke to the President. What did he tell you?

COREY LEWANDOWSKI, SENIOR ADVISER 2020 TRUMP CAMPAIGN: Jesse, I did just have the chance to speak with the President. Look, he was unbelievably upbeat, similar to what he said to Mayor Giuliani earlier in the day. He is continuing to work every day. His message for the American people is he is going to beat this coronavirus. He's ready to get back to work.

And look, he knows he is under the best care that the United States has to offer. But believe me, Jesse, he's ready to leave that hospital and get back to the White House and keep fighting for the American people.

WATTERS: He just released a video from the hospital. Let's listen to what he said about pushing forward and not hiding out. Roll it.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TRUMP: I had no choice because I just didn't want to stay in the White House. I was given that alternative. Stay in the White House, lock yourself in. Don't ever leave. Don't even go to the Oval Office. Just stay upstairs and enjoy it.

Don't see people. Don't talk to people and just be done with it. And I can't do that. I had to be out front and -- this is America. This is the United States. This is the greatest country in the world. This is the most powerful country in the world. I can't be locked up in a room upstairs and totally safe and just say, hey, whatever happens, happens. I can't do that.

We have to confront problems. As a leader you have to confront problems.

There's never been a great leader that would have done that.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

WATTERS: So Governor, that's the message that he wasn't going to hide from the virus. He was going to put himself out there. He was going to campaign.

He was going to show the American people what it took to get this country back open.

He was fearless about it. Some people say reckless. He was fearless about it. He has now contracted the virus and will recover, God willing, under great medical care. What kind of message does that send to the American people?

MIKE HUCKABEE, FOX NEWS CHANNEL CONTRIBUTOR: Jesse, at 25 percent of capacity, Donald Trump is still better, more energetic and has more ability than most people who are a fourth of his age at 100 percent capacity.

Corey and I can both attest having been with him on the campaign trail. You cannot keep up with him. Nobody can.

I mean, that is not just some myth. That is just reality about him.

And the other thing I think we've all got to remember is that Donald Trump has taught the Republicans how to fight. For the first time, Republicans actually are fighting back and we're not fighting back just to get power.

We are fighting for our country. We're fighting to make sure this country does not go the way of socialism does not go the way that the leftist wanted to go, where we have mobs running things, burning cities, threatening people who just want to be left alone and live their lives in peace.

We are the party of the Emancipation Proclamation, not the emasculation proclamation, and I think a lot of us are doggone proud that Donald Trump has taken the leadership of the party and the country because this country needs strong leadership to fight China, to fight crazy government that's out of control that would actually spy on a presidential candidate.

There's some things that this country is in the middle of, and this election is not about Donald Trump. It's much more about our future.

WATTERS: Yes, this is certainly a challenge. When you look back, Corey in 2016, you had "Access Hollywood," and then during the first term, the President was faced with impeachment and racial unrest and the Russia investigation.

If he can really beat this infection personally head on, and do it honestly, and chronicle his condition as he has tonight for the American people and do it openly and honestly and authentically, even in a self- deprecating way.

I think that really shows the American people what kind of leader he is, and it will help propel him to when he recovers in serious momentum going back with, I think 30 days left in this campaign, is that I you see it?

LEWANDOWSKI: You know, Jesse, great leaders rise to the greatest of challenges. And this is one of the greatest of challenges with 30 days to go. But look at the enthusiasm for this President. The hundreds of people outside the hospital right on the D.C.-Maryland border.

My friend Dave Bossie is there tonight, holding the flags that say Trump 2020. That is an organic movement. And look at what this President has done to put our country on the right path moving forward.

Now it's our chance over the next few days to fight for him, and let me tell you where the campaign is, in the states of Minnesota, New Hampshire, Nevada, states that we all narrowly lost last time in 2016, we're going to be victorious because of the promises he has made and the promises he has kept. And the people of these states are better because Donald Trump is our President.

So right now, we're asking everyone to stand in the breach and fight for President Trump as he has done for us unwavering and 24 hours a day, seven days a week through everything that has been thrown at him, to his administration, we're now going to give us the chance to show the President how grateful we are for the sacrifice he and his family have made to us, and we're going to fight for him for the next 30 days, Jesse.

He's going to get out of this hospital. He's going to be back on the road, and he's going to make sure he knows that the American people are grateful for everything he has been able to accomplish for this great country.

WATTERS: That's a powerful message. Thank you very much, Corey and Governor, we appreciate it.

President Trump sending a second video out. We're going to tell you about that.

The next few days are very critical. We're going to talk to a doctor about the treatment plan. Stay tuned.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

WATTERS: This is a FOX News alert. President Trump releasing a new video from Walter Reed Medical Center updating the country on his condition.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TRUMP: We're going to beat this coronavirus or whatever you want to call it, and we're going to beat it soundly.

So many things have happened. If you look at the therapeutics, which I'm taking right now, some of them and others are coming out soon that are looking like, frankly, they're miracles, if you want to know the truth.

They are miracles. People criticize me when I say that.

But we have things happening that look like they are miracles coming down from God. So I just want to tell you that I'm starting to feel good.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

WATTERS: President Trump looking better after spending a night at one of the finest military hospitals in the world. The President is being treated with remdesivir and an experimental antibody cocktail.

Doctors say he is responding well, but the next few days are the most critical.

Joining us now to discuss is FOX News medical contributor, Dr. Marc Siegel.

All right, so Dr. Siegel, he was diagnosed Thursday night and we have the White House Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, told the Associated Press, there is some concerning moments over the last 24 hours, and that on Friday, there was a possible progression in some of the symptoms. But it looks like they intervened very quickly. What are your thoughts on how his treatment is going so far?

DR. MARC SIEGEL, FOX NEWS CHANNEL MEDICAL CONTRIBUTOR: I like how he is improving, and it is disturbing to hear that he had problems on Friday but it is very encouraging on the other hand, we could see him now on this video.

Again, I can't make a strong clinical observation on a video, but he is speaking slowly. He doesn't seem to be having any shortness of breath.

That's good.

And we heard this morning from Dr. Conley, that he is not on oxygen currently, and that he has a saturation of 96 percent, which is normal. All of those are good signs.

But obviously, it's a situation where he has to be watched very carefully.

He looked, you know, like someone that is ill. But he looked like he was quite stable from the video, and was clearly comfortable when he was speaking. I thought that was encouraging.

WATTERS: Yes, it was kind of night and day, in my personal opinion between the video that he put out yesterday where he was standing in the White House, I believe, and then the video that he just put out there at the hospital.

There was a lot of controversy today as to whether he was administered oxygen at the White House on Friday. Tell us what your thoughts about oxygen are in this situation?

SIEGEL: Well, you know, oxygen is given pretty early in this situation just for comfort. I mean, if you're at the White House, and you feel short of breath, they're going to give you oxygen.

But what's most interesting now, Jesse, is that, again, his saturation, from what we're hearing from Walter Reed this morning is normal, right? And what I'm looking at, the issue of the fact that this virus can cause inflammation in the lungs and right now, that doesn't seem to be occurring.

We can't tell for sure. You'd have to have a CAT scan to know that for sure. I wouldn't even know whether they would be getting one, but I know

this: if his oxygen saturation is that good and he is speaking comfortably, it is a good time that he doesn't have major lung inflammation going on right now.

The oxygen may have been given at the White House because he was feeling uncomfortable, and that would be normal.

WATTERS: And so he doesn't have a fever, and he is been walking around and we talked to a few people who spoke to him on the phone and he sounds like he wants to storm back onto the campaign trail.

This is a kind of a guy that -- it seems like he might escape in scrubs from this hospital and get out there and do a rally. How long do you think they can keep him at the hospital if he is feeling better?

SIEGEL: Well, I think they're going to have to at least keep him until they finish the remdesivir, which is five days. But the point you're making now is so true. Even in a weakened condition, President Trump in many respects is stronger than a lot of other people and my experience of 30 years of taking care of patients is when they get rambunctious and they say, get me out of here, that's a really good sign that they're on the road to recovery.

WATTERS: Yes, I assume we're going to see that momentarily from the President. All right. Dr. Siegel, thank you very much for your expertise.

SIEGEL: Thank you, Jesse.

WATTERS: How China is now mocking President Trump's COVID-19 diagnosis.

Unbelievable.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

WATTERS: The Chinese communist controlled media going after President Trump after he tests positive for the coronavirus. An editor-in-chief tweeting, "President Trump and the First Lady have paid the price for his gamble to play down COVID-19. The news shows the severity of the U.S. pandemic situation. It will impose a negative impact on the image of Trump and the U.S. and may also negatively affect his re-election."

He later deleted the tweet and China's President Xi took a warmer approach.

Wishing the President and the First Lady a fast recovery.

Joining us now, Ranking Member House Intel Committee Congressman and author of "Countdown to Socialism," Devin Nunes.

Congressman, this makes my blood boil here. If you think about the fact that this escaped from a lab in China, we don't know if it was accidental or not. We believe it was accidental. But the fact that they shut down flights, from Wuhan to the rest of China, let them go all over the world, hid the information from the world, stockpiled the PPE, and now you get something like this from the Chinese Communist controlled media.

Two hundred thousand Americans have died. It's now reached the upper echelons of the U.S. government. I wouldn't call it an assassination attempt. But this is negligent homicide on a massive scale. What are you and your colleagues prepared to do about this?

REP. DEVIN NUNES (R-CA): Well, look, Republicans have been investigating China for a long time, and Donald Trump is the first President of both Republicans and Democrats to actually be on the campaign trail back in 2016, say clearly that he was going to take on China, and then do it.

I remember thinking at first when he was talking about he was going to put on these tariffs and that sort of thing. I thought to myself, Jesse, every President says it. It's really not going to happen, and then I'll be damned, he does it.

That's what's incredible to me is that this that -- that he actually did it. And so, you know, the Chinese Communist Party talking points and their media actually sounds a lot like 90 percent of the media in this country.

And I just want to be clear, Jesse, I've been in the White House several times over during this coronavirus pandemic, and it just -- it's so silly, the media, that talks about how they've been loose or lax with the rules.

It's hardly that. It's almost impossible to get into the White House, I will tell you that. You have to take a test, you have to sit outside.

You're not allowed in until then.

So all of this talk, whether it's the Democrats and their mainstream media propaganda arm here in the U.S. or their satellite propaganda arm over in China, one thing is for sure, I can tell you, this President has taken this virus extremely seriously and let's hope for an early and quick recovery.

QUEST: Yes, we're all hoping for that, and I just want the media, as you mentioned, and the Democrats to focus on the real villains here, which was the Chinese Communist Party who oversaw the release of this pandemic accidentally, we believe, and I know the Intelligence Community is investigating so we get a full scope and understanding of how this got out and how it was covered up because pointing your finger at Donald Trump that doesn't do anybody any good.

NUNES: And it's another example, too, Jesse of how just not ready China is to be a world leader and on the world stage. We had this idea, this concept that we were going to be friends with China. Their economy was going to grow. We were going to lift billions of people out of poverty around the globe.

But in fact, these are childish dictators that are not ready to be leaders on the global stage.

WATTERS: And they've completely squandered all goodwill that they had because of how they've handled this.

All right, Congressman, thank you very much.

NUNES: Absolutely. Thank you. Thanks for being with me.

WATTERS: President Trump testing positive for COVID-19. It is the October surprise a lot of people did not see coming.

So where does the race stand 30 days before voters head to the polls.

Joining me now FOX News contributor Marc Thiessen.

All right, Marc, in a way this has done something that no one thought possible, and that was humanize President Trump. People are now sympathizing with him. If he can show empathy to his family, to his colleagues, if he can go through something that that millions of Americans have suffered through and do it honestly and come out of it and recover.

And it's almost like the symbol of America recovering, the presidential patient, if he can do that and come back strong, I think this can really, really show everybody what he is made of, what the country is made of and we're really hoping for that.

MARC THIESSEN, FOX NEWS CHANNEL CONTRIBUTOR: Agreed a hundred percent, and look, the video he put out today was terrific. He looks more vigorous and clearheaded with COVID than Joe Biden does on a normal day. So you know, that was -- it was a great, great state.

WATTERS: And Joe Biden says he has not been tested today. He is going to be tested tomorrow. And he said he took down a lot of his negative ads. And I think the Super PAC is still running some negative ads. That was a classy move so far.

But you know, I don't think the President has stopped campaigning. You heard at the top, he is already dialing in some strategy. So where do you see things now 30 days out?

THIESSEN: Well, look, this is a -- I think you're right about the sympathy for the President. I think this humanizes him as you say, and it's also an opportunity for a reset on COVID. Because this is a chance for the White House to really counter one of the Biden campaign's main talking points, which is that the President has not been fully honest or transparent with the American people when it comes to the virus.

Whatever you think of that argument, there's a perception out there that that is the case with a lot of Americans. So this is a chance to be a model of transparency and a model of openness about his COVID diagnosis and how this happened.

And you know, the President was great in the video today. But as you pointed out, there was a controversy today over whether and when he had oxygen, right? Why is there a controversy about when he had oxygen? You know, the doctor, when he gave his briefing, they kept asking, has he ever been on oxygen? And he said, he is not on it today, like twice.

But these are layups. This is not hard. There's nothing wrong with being on oxygen when you've got COVID.

So you know, and then you had like the White House Chief of Staff on background, basically saying that things were more serious and what the doctor said.

WATTERS: Well, I mean, you know, the more the media --

THIESSEN: So, they've got to get this together.

WATTERS: Yes, but the more the media puts Trump six feet under, you know, he can come back from this and look like the strongest guy alive and really create a comeback narrative that no one could have ever scripted before.

We hope that's the case. We hope he recovers. Really, the fate of his presidency is how he handles the next week or week and a half and we hope he does the best job he can. I'm sure he's got the best doctors in the world making sure you can do that safely.

All right, Marc, thank you very much for your insight. We appreciate it.

THIESSEN: Thank you.

WATTERS: The media and the left quick to launch attacks on President Trump after he tested positive. "The Washington Post" imagining what it would be like to never have to think about Trump again, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DON LEMON, CNN ANCHOR: His own dereliction is partly to blame for this. He chose to go out to rallies. He chose to downplay masks. He chose to not social distance and called it a hoax and so on and so forth.

JAKE TAPPER, CNN ANCHOR: President Trump now in quarantine has become a symbol of his own failures.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Here we are, you know, it's like, you know, ultimate karma.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

WATTERS: The mainstream media quick to pounce and launch attacks on President Trump following his positive coronavirus result.

"The Washington Post" imagining what it would be like to never think about Trump again. Later deleting the tweet saying it was an automated post that was tasteless.

And there's MSNBC's Joy Reid questioning if Trump even has the coronavirus at all.

But it gets worse. Here's a former Obama administration official wishing Trump was dead, and comedian Kate Willett wishing the same.

Joining me now to discuss, media reporter for "The Hill," Joe concha. I don't even know where to begin. These people are Grim Reapers. I think it's

-- I think it's a sign of brain damage if you tweet you hope your own President dies. Disgusting. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. You've seen it all day.

JOE CONCHA, MEDIA REPORTER, THE HILL: And Jesse, this isn't some troll on Twitter. This is a national spokesman for the Clinton campaign in 2016.

That tweet should be taken down by Twitter. It breaks their terms of service and their rules. Of course, it's not going to come down.

But what we're seeing, Jesse, is jumping ahead to the worst possible scenarios and conspiracy theories. The type that the people have said that the moon landing was staged looks sane.

Let me give you another one from CNN, their national security analyst, quote, "It is very likely that Russian Intelligence agencies through signal and human Intel sources at Walter Reed have more information about the President's true condition than we do, though. I think we all know how the President is doing. Doctors lie, too," she accuses Dr. Sean Conley, the President's doctor for lying.

And that means by the way, Jesse, that you're also saying that Doctors, Dooley, Garibaldi, Blaylock, Campbell, Hodgson, Klein, Nasworthy, Lavopa, Carter, Meehan and Shea, now, the 11 doctors that are treating the President are in on this conspiracy, too.

Then you had CNN's Jim Acosta just yesterday --

WATTERS: It is so reckless and irresponsible and it's damaging the Republic. If you can't be straight with the American people just covering the President's health, what else are you lying to us about? I'm just disgusted by it.

We can go through these tweets all day long. The conspiracies, these people are crawling out from under rocks saying the most disgusting things imaginable. And you know what? To be honest with you, there are a lot of CNN anchors that were infected by COVID-19. We don't blame people for being infected.

This is an invisible enemy that gets people sick. We don't know how the President contracted it. We don't know when. We don't know where. So let's just wait until the information comes out before we start just napalming this guy who's in the hospital in a touch and goes situation.

All right, Joe, thank you very much and I'm sorry we had to report that, but we just wanted to just be honest with you about how disgusting some of the President's opponents are.

Up next, Last Call.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

WATTERS: President Trump's supporters showing their love across the country. Parades in honor of the Commander-in-Chief spanning several cities. No doubt that support helping the President stay positive.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TRUMP: I think we're going to have a very good result. Again over the next few days, we're going to probably know for sure.

So I just want to thank everybody out there. Everybody all over the world, specifically the United States, the outpouring of love has been incredible.

I will never forget. Thank you very much.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

WATTERS: And we are sending our prayers to President Trump and First Lady, Melania.

That's all for tonight. Follow me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

"Justice with Judge Jeanine" is next.

And remember, I'm Watters, this is my world.
