NEW ISIS THREAT SPARKING URGENT CALLS TO SECURE U.S BORDER

JOHN LAYFIELD: I hope the warnings are enough. ISIS has said they are coming to the United States. ISIS is now putting out blueprints how to make bombs- specifically in the US. This isn't about immigration or amnesty it's about protecting our country.

GARY B. SMITH: It costs about 22 billion to build the fence, and then you think is it even going to work? Do you know how many hijackers from 9/11 were here illegally- none of them. We need more intelligence and security.

TRACY BYRNES: This is very serious, and has been bothering me for a while now. We are not taking it serious enough. ISIS is here, they are here. What scares me the most is that they infiltrate the minds of children. So many of the kids crossing the border are trained to hate us and are potentially kill us. We are letting them in with open arms and paying for their medical. You can't do a cost benefit on our safety -- the government's only real job is to protect and defend our safety... money shouldn't be an object.

JONAS FERRIS: The Canadian border is a huge porous border and is open just as open as the Mexican border. We have to do more in the country to stop the movement of people but that means us making sacrifices, maybe adding more cameras in cities, maybe requiring federal ID. These are things we need to think about not just building walls.

EMILY SUSSMAN: One of the things that is not being discussed that much is the bipartisan bill that was passed out of the Senate on immigration- was that it had historic protections for the border. The House - I think they have the votes to pass this bill, they just haven't brought it up. The ideas are there, the votes are there, the House can do this tomorrow.

TRACY BYRNES: There are no rules and regulations over there, no FDA... China makes it up as they go. I think US companies competing over there is unfair. They need to level the playing field with us

GARY B. SMITH: The bigger point is companies like Alibaba, etc. are expanding internationally... they are bringing jobs to Europe and the US. I understand the fairness issue, but I say so what? Look if they don't want the Microsofts, etc. to compete over there, that's going to end up being their loss.

JOHN LAYFIELD: We have nothing to fear for them, we undermine their economy. Its time we keep letting China bully us around, like we have had for so long.

JONAS FERRIS: This is a win for America, it's still the #1 place to live. We are more corporate friendly. At the end of the day all these rules isn't going to work for China, it's not a good economic model. In the long run excluding US companies is going to hold the economy back and not help it.

EMILY SUSSMAN: What we need to look for is high economic standards across the board.

GARY B. SMITH: I am living it! I got a notice because my plan doesn't have all these things ObamaCare requires I would have to find a new plan.

JONAS FERRIS: This particular situation- these people are getting highly subsidies insurance paid for by people paying a lot on their capitol gains taxes- you better verify that your income level is low enough for that subsidy. I hope the government isn't doling out subsidies to anyone who claims they aren't earning not a lot of money. We need this to make sure it doesn't spiral out of control.

JOHN LAYFIELD: This was not health care reform, it was insurance reform. It was passed in a partisan manner and rammed through.

EMILY SUSSMAN: I think what people should be saying is isn't this the way it should work? This is the way the government is going in and getting rid of waste fraud and abuse.

TRACY BYRNES: 90 percent -- almost 90 percent -- of the people enrolled are getting subsides; there is something wrong with this picture. Now everyone has to deal with the ramifications.
