Happy Birthday, Rev. Billy Graham!

GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, FOX NEWS HOST: We are live here in West Virginia for the 90th birthday party for Reverend Billy Graham. Reverend Graham made his grand entrance in front of family and friends gathered to celebrate his life.

Reverend Graham has met every single United States President since Harry Truman. Here's Reverend Graham meeting with President Eisenhower during a White House visit in 1957.

Now, President Nixon had a long relationship with Reverend Graham. Here's then Vice President Nixon pouring coffee for the reverend in 1960.

This is Reverend Graham at an annual prayer breakfast with President Lyndon Johnson in 1964. Reverend Graham also spoke at the inaugurations of Presidents George H. W. Bush and President Clinton.

REV. BILLY GRAHAM: Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. We recognize on this historic occasion that we are a nation under God.

In thy sovereignty thou has permitted George Bush to lead us at this momentous hour of our history for the next four years. As he today places his hands upon the bible and solemnly swears before thee to preserve, protect, and defend the constitution, give him the wisdom, integrity, and courage to help us become a nation that is gentle and kind.

Oh, God, we consecrate today George Herbert Walker Bush to the presidency of these United States with the assurance that from this hour on, as he and his family move into the White House, they will have the presence and the power of the one who said "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee."

And now on this 20th day of January, 1993, we commit to you President-elect Clinton and Vice President-elect Gore, whom you have permitted to take leadership at this critical time in our nation's history.

May President-elect Clinton know that he is never really alone, but that the eternal God can be his refuge, and he can turn to you in every circumstance. Give him the wisdom you have promised to those who ask, and the strength you alone can give.

VAN SUSTEREN: The Reverend Billy Graham's son, Reverend Franklin Graham, joins us live here in West Virginia. Of course, I had the pleasure of going with you to North Korea. so we've met before.

REV. FRANKLIN GRAHAM, BILLY GRAHAM EVANGELISTIC ASSOCIATION: We have.

VAN SUSTEREN: And tonight, what a great birthday party.

GRAHAM: You know, it was, Greta. I'm so proud of my father. All of his life he has stayed on message. You know, the Obama folks ran a great campaign. And he stayed on his message. My father has stayed on his message, and that's the gospel, that god loves us, that Jesus Christ is God's son, who died for our sins, who rose again, who can come into our life and change us if we're willing to confess our sins and repent and receive him by faith.

And he has stayed on that one message. He is 91 years old as we celebrate him, but he has stayed on that message all of his life.

And I'm just proud of him, Greta, that's been so faithful to the calling of the gospel.

VAN SUSTEREN: It was interesting. He spoke about so many things in a short conversation with the number of guests who were there. And he spoke about his faith, he spoke about his family.

And then at one point he seemed like he was getting a little bit sad, and then he zinged us with he'd see us at his 95th birthday. He caught everybody off guard, I thought. He got us all. It was a sharp sense of humor.

GRAHAM: He is. He's a funny guy, kind of like John McCain, kind of a dry sense of humor. But he is a tease, and all of his life he's been that way.

And I think he would like to be here for his 95th birthday. He enjoys life. He enjoys telling others about heaven and how to have that hope, knowing that our sins are forgiven, that we are prepared and ready to stand before holy God. He enjoys sharing this wonderful message with everyone that he's ever met.

And that room of people, so many of those were his friends, people that have supported him and backed him all the years. And we have a great group of donors, partners, that have financially backed my father and continue to back the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. We couldn't do the work that we do if it wasn't for those people.

VAN SUSTEREN: It was fun for me, because when I met him, I had never met him before, and when I met him, he said that he watched our interview here "On the Record" with Governor Sarah Palin. And he went on saying how much he admired Governor Palin. That was fun for me that he showed that much interest in our show.

GRAHAM: And, really, what he likes about Governor Palin--first of all, she's real. What you see is what you get with her.

And she is a woman of faith. And she's not afraid to let that come out. And so my father has seen that and he respects her for her honesty.

VAN SUSTEREN: He got a great present from the family. He got a kitten.

GRAHAM: He got a kitten.

VAN SUSTEREN: And you don't even know the name of the kitten.

GRAHAM: I don't, but it's one of those ragdoll cats. And I understand you have two.

VAN SUSTEREN: I have two as well, yes. But you guys apparently got a better deal on yours in terms of price. So I'm probably going to catch hell on the home front for that.

So tell me just briefly, what are the plans for Samaritan's Purse. We traveled to North Korea, but what's the latest on--

GRAHAM: We're still working in North Korea. The hospital where we worked together, we're in the process of getting that generator installed at that hospital.

The situation in North Korea, no question, is difficult and tough. And I think with the new administration coming in, Greta, we've got to continue this dialogue with them.

I'm not saying that we give into their demands, but we have to talk to them. We were silent for too many years during the Bush administration. We need to be talking and keep that dialogue going. It's important.

VAN SUSTEREN: The other thing that struck me about tonight is how proud your father is of his son. You're the only boy.

GRAHAM: I do have a younger brother.

VAN SUSTEREN: Was he here tonight?

GRAHAM: He was here tonight, he sure was.

VAN SUSTEREN: I didn't meet him.

Your sister, you called her "Bunny," and she doesn't like to be called bunny?

GRAHAM: No. When we were growing up, when she was little, I think her front teeth were a little bigger than the others, so we told her you look like a bunny rabbit.

VAN SUSTEREN: Oh, that's terrible.

GRAHAM: So we still call her Bunny.

VAN SUSTEREN: You're in so much more trouble than you thought. You thought you were in trouble for calling her bunny in front of the crowd tonight. If she's watching tonight, you're finished.

Anyway, Reverend Graham, it's also nice to see you. It was wonderful to see your father on his 90th birthday, and it was really fun to see all the pictures of him with all the presidents and all the wonderful things he's done.

GRAHAM: Thank you.

VAN SUSTEREN: So we'll be here for the 95th.

GRAHAM: Great.

VAN SUSTEREN: Thank you.
