And now some fresh pickings from the Political Grapevine...

Too Soon?

In case you aren't keeping track, the 2016 presidential election is in 1,119 days away. Apparently, that is not too early for some political mudslinging from two Democratic frontrunners.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave a speech in Atlanta that was closed to journalists.

A Republican State representative who was in attendance, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Clinton bragged about her support of the Usama bin Laden raid in contrast to Vice President Joe Biden's opposition.

Quote -- "Without turning the knife too deeply, she put it to Biden."

This was not the first barb between the two.

In September, Biden was in Iowa and made sure to compliment Clinton's replacement at the State Department.

Big Catch

Speaking of people who talk a lot, pirate leader Mohamed Abdi Hassan -- also known as Afweyne, or Big Mouth -- has been arrested in a sting operation seemingly right out of the movies.

Belgian undercover agents convinced him to be an adviser on a documentary about his exploits on the high-seas.

After months of work, Big Mouth took the bait and flew to Brussels to work on the movie.

He was promptly arrested and the film was revealed as a ploy.

X-Files

Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction and that is the case in a Montana County Health Department.

An employee found a motion-activated camera and reported it to authorities thinking someone was spying on that office.

The truth -- two employees had set up the camera hoping to record paranormal activity.

Yes, they were looking for ghosts.
Authorities told the Montana Standard that no laws were broken and the employees were only reprimanded.
