Wasting Away: Experts Say Super Skinny Lindsay Lohan Has Dropped to a Dangerous 95 Pounds
Lindsay Lohan’s fragile frame has been a cause of concern for quite some time now, however photographs of the actress shopping in Los Angeles this week seem to have taken the term "scary skinny" to whole new level. Donning a low-cut strapless dress, the 22-year-old flashed a little skin … and a lot of bone.
According to Dr. Kent Holtorf, Director of the Holtorf Medical Group in Los Angeles (who does not treat Lohan) the 5’5'' starlet weighs around 95-100lbs with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of less than 16. But in order to be considered "healthy" she should be at least 113-149lbs with a BMI of 18-25.
"There are signs of muscle wastage, clearly her bones are protruding and she looks quite rigid," Holtorf told Tarts. "She looks like skin and bones at this point, Lindsay clearly looks malnourished and unhealthy for her frame."

Hollywood clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, Dr. James E. Walton, agreed that Lohan is "floating at 100 pounds" and is setting a bad example to young girls who look up to the "Mean Girls" actress.
"She seems to have no reserves, a little fat is very good because it gives us a reserve to fight off illness and repair injuries," Walton explained. " It has to be affecting her energy level a bit. It also cushions us against injuries, those low fat levels indicate a possible vitamin and mineral deficiency and can throw off proper hormone balances. She should weigh between 120 and 130 for healthy weight at her height ... Ok, for Hollywood, no lighter than 115 for her height. But that's only for Hollywood and the camera."
A rep for Lohan did not respond for comment.
And even though the actress recently parted ways with her girlfriend Samantha Ronson, an inside source told Tarts that the stress of the relationship is still taking its toll.
"Lindsay texts Samantha non-stop, its crazy," said our source.
Lohan was spotted out at STK in Los Angeles over the weekend with her mom and sister, but according to eyewitnesses she was totally preoccupied texting her ex rather than indulging in food and conversation.
"Lindsay tells everybody she eats and is fine," added our insider. "But her friends and family are pretty worried."
Carrie Prejean Still in The Running For Miss Usa, Offered a Trump-like Lifestyle in NYC
Despite all the uproar surrounding Miss USA’s first runner-up Carrie Prejean, it must be noted that the controversial Miss California still has a shot at nabbing title in June. The pageant winner, Kristen Dalton, will go on to represent the United States at the Miss Universe pageant in the Bahamas and many believe she has a good chance of nabbing the title.
"The USA hasn’t won since 1997," explained an ex Miss USA judge who preferred to remain off-record. "But so far Kristen looks like she has what it takes - beauty, intelligence and a great personality. It may very well be our year."

If that does happen, Dalton will step up as Miss Universe and Prejean will take over as Miss USA which will no doubt cause another public outcry. While Miss California has missed out on fulfilling a glamorous life with an all-expenses paid apartment in Trump Towers NYC at least for the time being, Pop Tarts has exclusively learned that boutique Manhattan public relations firm, Adam Weiss PR, has offered the 22-year-old something similar.
Weiss believes Prejean should have been crowned Miss USA as she was coined the "competition front-runner".
"Miss California has right to believe that a marriage should be a sacred bond between a man and a woman," said Weiss. "Mr. Hilton (Perez) should not have been offended by her comment and down-ranked her because she, just like any other American, has the right to voice her beliefs and opinions on national television without having to be negatively ‘judged’ by Mr. Hilton or anyone else."
In order to offer Miss California her own prize package, Weiss would like to present Prejean with her very own Miss America tiara, designed by celebrity jewelry designer Nicole Traub, a one-year stay in New York City with a full-time PR team who will manage her public image.

We’re told by inside sources that Snoop stalled his showdown for two hours and every five minutes had his team call production for bottle of Dom to immediately be brought to the stage.
But back to Eminem, the supposed comeback kid caused a lot of people to lose their cool as he pulled a Michael Jackson and did a no-show at the uber-hyped event.
The rapper, who’s controversial single "We Made You" (which makes fun of Kim Kardashian, Jessica Simpson and Sarah Palin), dropped earlier that week and he was billed (along with Dr. Dre) as the totally amazing surprise performance for the night.
But despite turning up for a sound check the night before and reportedly confirming their performance, Eminem and Dre didn’t turn up on the night and according to insiders didn’t phone very upset organizers or sponsors with an excuse.
However a rep for Eminem told Tarts that the rapper was never scheduled to be at the event in the first place. What the? Whatever.
