Suddenly Skinny: How Jessica Simpson Dropped the Pounds

While most celebs probably would have freaked out if their apparent "weight gain" was hitting headlines across the world, apparently Jessica Simpson whipped back into svelte shape in just a matter of weeks by simply not stressing.

"The whole thing wasn’t as traumatic for Jessica as everyone made it out to be," her longtime personal trainer Mike Alexander (founder of www.madfit.com ) told Tarts. "She’s a confident and naturally beautifully girl who works hard."

According to Alexander, the pics of Simpson from over a month ago were "very unfortunate and flattered all the wrong angles" but were taken at the beginning of her current tour with country crooners Rascal Flatts. So Alexander believes that just being busy with daily rehearsals and shows has helped her get back into tip-top shape.

"Jessica is now at the end of her tour and looks great. It’s not easy to have a super strict diet when you are touring so you just have to make the best of the restaurants you go too but she’s knows what to eat and what not too and we talk about all of that," he said, adding that the songstress’s biggest weaknesses in the past have been her love for fried southern comfort food, a good hearty steak and Mexican.

But to look sexy in her Daisy Dukes, Simpson reportedly stays away from "white" foods such as wheat and flour and goes for the whole grain option instead while ensuring her three main meals (and even her snacks) are protein-based. In terms of exercise, Alexander said Simpson does 30 minutes of resistance training 4-6 days per week on top of all the calorie-burning she gets by being on stage every night.

"It is all about consistency," he said, adding that once Jessica is back in L.A. she’ll be back on track with her usual routine and gym visits.

Another source close to Simpson confirmed to Tarts that the pop princess definitely hasn’t made any drastic changes to her diet/workout routine and still has the same team including a trainer and stylist supporting her.

"It really was a bad photo that made her look much larger than she actually was," added our insider. "She is still following her same routine."

It seems as though the busty blonde has also been making much better wardrobe choices to flatter her fine little figure, opting away from those disastrous high-waisted jeans/chunky belt look and going for denim cutoffs and the Level 99’s Becca Ruched Skinny which is specifically made of spandex to hide any flaws. And according to an inside source, these were personally delivered to Simpson recently in the itty bitty size of 25.

We all know it is normal for relationships to hit a rough patch every now and then, but it seems Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson fight more than they fondle. Despite Li-Lo’s claims that she’s very happy with her DJ girlfriend, the actress was left tear-stricken in Las Vegas again on Monday night after another apparent blue between the two.

Pop Tarts spies spotted a not-too-smiley Ronson dining solo at KOI Las Vegas where she spent the whole time texting and talking to what was believed to be Lohan. A little later the Mean Girl showed up in Sin City to surprise her beloved who was manning the music at hotspot Prive Nightclub at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

We’re told the starlet arrived about an hour after Sam had taken over the turntables and stayed by her side in the DJ booth all night. At 3:15 a.m. Sam was spotted at the hotel's valet retrieving her car without Lohan and leaving the property. Several minutes later, a visibly upset Lohan made her way to the valet and requested her own vehicle, chasing after Ronson in panic.

"Everyone is urging Lindsay to leave her," an insider said. "They have the worst fights almost everyday but it’s always Lindsay that does the crawling."

It seems the actress has to deal with quite a few personal problems aside from her ruptured romance. Not only is Lohan’s sudden weight loss causing concern among close friends and family, but the supposed "reformed rehabber" has been spotted on several occasions drinking what is believed to be alcohol while out on the town.

Whitney Port’s Wardrobe Malfunction

The City stunner Whitney Port has her own fashion line Whitney Eve, previously worked for leading fashion PR firm People’s Revolution and now works for fashion icon Diane Von Furstenberg in the fashion capital of NYC -- but even she still suffers the odd wardrobe function.

After celebrating her 24th Birthday in Los Angeles, Port was pap-snapped hurrying through LAX security on Tuesday and amid all the craziness exposed her pink bra and undies.

But speaking of showing a little too much, Pop Tarts spotted her Hills co-star Lauren "Lo" Bosworth at Barbie’s 50th Birthday party at the Malibu Dreamhouse on Monday evening. As she posed on the pink carpet alongside LC, Lo’s top fell aside and (unknowingly to her) she flashed a little too much flesh to the reporters nearby. Hey it happens to the best of us, right?
