Miley Cyrus and her father Billy Ray spend a a lot of time together, both personally and professionally. So does he ever get sick of his superstar daughter?
"The dress Miley is wearing tonight is perfect, and so are these earrings because they convert into fishing lines real quick," Billy Ray told FOXNews.com at the Academy of Country Music Awards show Sunday night, motioning to Miley's long jeweled earrings.
But the 16-year-old wasn't so sweet with her response.
"You've been using this joke forever, and that didn't even make sense, but you just wanted to use it. It's not that funny, you're just upset because I busted you about it," she quickly quipped. "That wasn't even the question, the question was about if you get sick of me and now you're talking about fishing lines. It doesn't make sense — so do you love me or not?"
Moving on to one more red carpet nugget...
On the subject of fashion, Nicole Kidman looked away and didn't answer when asked about her ultra-elegant black dress, but luckily hubby Keith Urban was up-to-date with his designers.
"She's wearing L'Wren Scott who I love as well," Urban chimed in. "Good job L'Wren."
And even though their daughter Sunday Rose is only eight months old it seems she is already taking after her famous parents when it comes to mastering music.
"She bangs on the piano all the time," Urban said, with Kidman chiming in that she also squeals constantly.
We were also waiting in high anticipation for the currently controversial Leann Rimes to show as planned, but she was nowhere to be found.
Surprise, surprise.
