New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira had a brief run in with a fan after going for a foul ball in the stands.
After missing the pop up, a fan went to grab the ball with Teixeira in the way. The switch-hitter snapped and yelled at the fan.
Postgame, he preached some advice to fans sitting that close to the field:
"You can insult. You can't assault. We know you are upset we lost three in a row. We're sorry. Keep it to insults."
The quote drew some laughs from the reporters, but there's no doubt Texieira hopes fans heed his suggestion.
