Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson will get back in action on Jan. 2 when he faces Neil Magny at UFC 195 in Las Vegas while knockout artists Albert Tumenov and Lorenz Larkin also meet on the same card.

Both fights were announced by UFC officials on Thursday.

A winner of five fights in a row, Thompson has made a name for himself in the welterweight division with some of the deadliest strikes in the weight class, and he'll look to take out another contender when he returns in January.

Thompson has only suffered one loss during his career in a battle with No. 5 ranked welterweight Matt Brown, but his recent win streak put the prolific striker in the top 10 as he looks to pick up another signature win to start the New Year.

Magny has gone 8-1 over his last nine fights as the former "Ultimate Fighter" competitor has made waves in the welterweight division in the past year.

Magny most recently defeated Erick Silva by split decision before booking the fight with "Wonderboy" in January.

Also added to the UFC 195 fight card is a matchup between Tumenov and Larkin, with both fighters coming off recent knockout wins.

Tumenov flattened Alan Jouban in October at UFC 192, which marked his fourth win in a row -- three of them coming by knockout.

Larkin has looked just as good since he dropped down to welterweight picking up back-to-back wins by TKO.

The two new welterweight fights added on Thursday join the main event featuring Robbie Lawler against Carlos Condit in one of the most highly anticipated 170-pound title fights in recent memory.
