Washington, D.C. – The Washington Wizards announced Wednesday that forward Chris Singleton will miss six to eight weeks due to a Jones fracture in the fifth metatarsal in his left foot.
The injury occurred on Tuesday during a voluntary workout at the Verizon Center. An X-Ray performed by team doctors confirmed the fracture, which will require surgery.
Singleton averaged 4.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, in 57 games for the Wizards this past season.
