Wings place Conner on IR, summon Tatar

Nashville, TN – The Detroit Red Wings placed forward Chris Conner on injured reserve and recalled forward Tomas Tatar from Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League.

Conner is sidelined with an undisclosed injury. He collected a goal and two assists over his last three games for Detroit.

Tatar, 21, ranks third in Griffins' scoring this season with seven goals and 14 assists in 26 games. The 2009 second-round pick had a goal in nine games with the Red Wings last season.
