Arnhem, Netherlands – Bonno Wilfried scored all three goals, including a 79th-minute penalty kick, to help Vitesse grab a 3-3 draw against Heerenveen on Saturday.
Alfred Finnbogason and Wilfried each scored two goals in the opening 70 minutes to leave the two sides level at 2-2.
Sven Kums broke the tie for Heerenveen in the 74th minute, but just three minutes later, Arnold Kruiswijk was sent off for a foul inside the penalty area, allowing Wilfried to complete his hat trick from the spot and snatch a point for his side.
Willem II earned its first win of the season with a goal from Aurelien Joachim in a 1-0 triumph over RKC Waalwijk, leaving Venlo as the only winless team in the Eredivisie after a 3-0 defeat at Roda, which got two goals from Sanharib Malki.
The other match on Saturday saw Heracles topple Zwolle, 3-0 with Ninos Gouriye scoring two goals for the visitors, who won for the second time this season.
