Notre Dame needed a big throw from its quarterback, and DeShone Kizer delivered.

With the Fighting Irish trailing Temple 20-17 and the clock winding down, the redshirt freshman signal-caller zipped a pass to go-to receiver Will Fuller, who hauled it in in the end zone for a 17-yard touchdown that put ND on top of the Owls 24-20 with 2:09 left.

Fuller had slipped behind the cornerback and the safety wasn't able to make a play on the ball, leaving Fuller to do the rest and Notre Dame fans to celebrate.

Earlier in the same drive, Kizer stood tall in the pocket and found tight end Alize Jones for a big 45-yard catch that got the Irish into scoring territory.
