It hasn't been the best month for Seattle Sounders striker Jordan Morris. He got cut from the U.S. Men's National Team before the Copa America Centenario, and then he was scoreless in two losses with Seattle during the tournament.
But now, the Copa America is over, all eyes are back on Major League Soccer, and Morris is back to scoring goals. As of Saturday night, he is back to scoring very pretty goals.
Toronto FC pulled ahead only a minute before as Jordan Hamilton pounced on a loose ball in the 60th minute. But it only took Morris until the restart to equalize as he collected a long ball from Joevin Jones, turned around a defender and fired a laser strike.

He did it without his usual striking partner, Clint Dempsey, who had a very good Copa America. Dempsey didn't make the 18 on Saturday night as Seattle coach Sigi Schmid opted to rest the 33-year-old after the grueling Copa America finished last weekend.
Morris now has 6 goals and one assist in 16 games since he made the much-debated decision to play with the Sounders, declining an offer orchestrated by USMNT coach Jurgen Klinsmann to play with Werder Bremen in Germany.
