Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson was fired by coach Joe Philbin on Sunday - and it was all caught on tape.
The latest episode of the popular HBO sports documentary series Hard Knocks gave viewers unprecedented access into the one on one meeting Philbin had with Johnson.
"Where we are as a program, and where you are, and where we're headed - I just don't see the mesh right now," Philbin told Johnson. "I wish it was different...I just think it's best for both of us that we kind of part ways at this point."
Johnson walked into the office and spoke before Philbin.
"I apologize for embarrassing you, this organization, and my teammates," Johnson said in sweats, t-shirt, and sandals.
