When the NASCAR XFINITY Series takes to Iowa Speedway for Sunday's American Ethanol E15 250, one of the favorites will be Joe Gibbs Racing's Erik Jones.
Although a rookie in the XFINITY Series, Jones already has two race victories and eight top-five finishes in just 13 races and is ranked an impressive fourth in points, trailing only Elliott Sadler, Jones' teammate Daniel Suarez and Ty Dillon.
With the XFINITY Series adopting the Chase format for the first time, Jones is already assured of being in NASCAR's playoffs this year. Considering he won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series title last year, Jones is already building an impressive resume.
