New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker and Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson were named the NBA Players of the Week Monday.

Walker was named the Eastern Conference's top player after averaging an NBA- high 30.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists to help the Hornets go 4-0 last week.

Thompson averaged a Western Conference-high 27.7 points along with 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.3 steals to help the NBA-leading Warriors go 3-0.
