London, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Tottenham defender Kyle Walker has signed a new contract with the club that will keep him at White Hart Lane until 2019.

The 23-year-old joined Spurs in 2009 from Sheffield United, and after loan spells at Bramall Lane, QPR and Aston Villa, Walker has established himself as a key contributor for the club, making 112 appearances.

Walker started 36 of Tottenham's 38 games in the Premiership last season, helping the club to a fifth-place finish, while he has also become a part of England's national team setup.

The young right back has been capped nine times by the Three Lions and featured in the team's World Cup qualifier against Montenegro earlier this month.
