Leverkusen, Germany – Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller has extended his stay with the club after signing a contract extension that ties him to Bayer until 2017.
Voller's contract was set to expire at the end of the season but the former Germany international has decided to remain with the club.
"I have now, with some interruptions, been connected with Bayer Leverkusen for well over 15 years, and I feel at home here," Voller told Bild.
"We have achieved a lot in that time, especially in sporting terms, but we must always look ahead."
Leverkusen finished second in the Bundesliga last season and is currently second in its Champions League group while sitting in eighth place in the league.
