Austin Kenon scored 20 points, leading six Virginia Military Institute players in double figures, as the Keydets routed Radford 105-71 Thursday night.

The Keydets (10-7, 3-4 Big South Conference) snapped a two-game losing streak and won for the first time in the last five meetings with the Highlanders (4-12, 1-5). Stan Okoye added 18 points, D.J. Covington 16, Keith Gabriel 15, Ron Burks 12 and Michael Sparks 11 for VMI, which entered the game averaging a nation-leading 91.7 points a contest.

Johnathan Edwards led Radford with 13 points and nine rebounds, but the Highlanders never recovered after VMI went on an 18-3 run that spanned 4:35 midway through the first half. That put the Keydets ahead 39-18 with 7:21 left in the first half and VMI went to its locker room up by 27 at halftime.
